We have this woman who comes in regularly and always brings her son. Normally, that wouldn't bother me, except this kid is the spawn of Satan. And I like kids, so for me to say he's that, means he's AWFUL! Anyway, he regularly moves rounders, and tips over manequins, and climbs the candy tower, and stands on top of the tables. He pulls things off the tables and strews jewelry and candy around the store. We tell him not to, but he just pretends not to understand. He drives us crazy! Anyway, this week, he started fiddling with the fire extiguisher. Why we have it down where kids can mess with it, I don't have any idea!?! Anyway, the girl working that night told him not to mess with the fire extinguiser, he could get hurt, make a mess, etc. He takes one look at her, smiles his evil little smile, pulls the pin, and squeezes the trigger. Sandy, nasty chemical foam goes everywhere! All over clothes, candy, jewelry! Thankfully, it missed the registers. It would have completely ruined the registers. We've been cleaning up foam and sand all week. I got a horrible sinus headache the next day, because of all the dust flying around! Anyway, one of the many nightmares I live through at work!

Birthdays!
Tomorrow is my 22nd birthday. I have no idea what Darrin and I are going to do. We've been trying to decide what sounds like fun, but there's not really much going on in Indy right now. I'm kind of apathetic about my birthday this year. This is the first birthday I've spent away from my family and the first birthday in almost ten years that I've spent away from my friends back home, so I'm a little weirded out about it.
Anyway, Darrin have been looking to buy a house. With the housing market the way it is, we've been able to find some really good deals. Our apartment lease lasts until September though, so we still have a few months to find the perfect house! I'm very excited about that!

In Like a Lion
The main point of this post, however, is that I am opening an etsy shop.I need a possibly paying outlet for all the things I make! The problem, though, is that I have no idea what to call it! I've considered Phoenix Designs, but I think that might make people think I'm in Phoenix... and that could cause some confusion. If you have any suggestions let me know!

Blah... Blah... Blah!
I have made no progress on anything recently. I've just been really lazy. My apartment shows the signs of my lack of modivation. Everything needs to be vacuumed. I have written nothing in weeks and I have to go back to work tomorrow after three days off. I had a list of 16 things that I wanted to get done this weekend and ya know how many of those things I got done? 5... yeah... 5. It's great!

So.... Facebook sucks!
One quick little rant here! I've been trying to access my facebook page for the last few hours and every time I open the page, I'm told that my page is down for site maintenance and will be back up shortly. NOT TRUE! It's driving me crazy. I know I have messages and I can't get to them! Anyway, I've gotten nothing done today, on the book or in my life. I wrote a whole five sentences yesterday, so I'm very excited for tomorrow! I watched the Miss America pageant this evening (I recorded it!) and was very excited to see that Miss Indiana won (yeah!) but what was with that dress? Like Dolly Parton goes to a renaissance fair! Anyway, I've seen several blogs of the "post a new picture everyday for a year" variety and I'm seriously considering doing something of the sort. I'm going to start on my 22nd birthday (April 24th) though because I'll never be able to remember for the entire year. I guess I'll have to find my camera cords though. I have no idea where they are. Darrin probably knows. Anyway, off to bed!

P.S- Facebook Flair is addicting!
In 1246, Ava randomly meets Costin, duke of ________, at a jousting tournament. She quickly falls for his good looks and charming character, and the feelings seem to be mutual. She misses all his flaws, greed and desire for power at any cost. She is young and exotically beautiful and despite her lack of family, he proposes to her. Soon after the engagement, rebels rise up against the royals and a battle begins outside the castle. The rebels are defeated, but Costin is seemingly mortally wounded. In a moment of despair, Ava, thinking she is going to lose her fiance, dabs her tear-filled handkerchief over Costin’s sword wounds. Costin heals quickly and he and Ava are soon married. No one knows Ava’s true identity and for many years, Costin’s quick healing is attributed to divine intervention… until, someone notices that neither of them seem to be aging. Ava, sensing the unwanted attention she had experienced many times before, explains to Costin who she really is and what the effect her tears had had on him… that her tears healed his wounds and because of her hasty decision, he is now immortal. She impresses upon him the need to run and start their lives over somewhere else. They pack their belongings and flee in the dead of night from France to __________. But hiding and playing peasant doesn’t agree with Costin, and his true character is soon revealed. He loves Ava, but his desire for power soon takes over. He tries to convince her that, together, they could become supreme rulers over the known world… satiating his thirst for power and keeping his wife. But Ava knows the responsibility that comes with power, and won’t be responsible for Costin’s acts. She knows that he wont give up his idea of complete power and decides that it is time to leave him. She runs from him, but he follows, still bent on domination and the power that Ava’s tears can give him. She runs for hundreds of years, Costin and his current company always a few steps behind.

My plans for the next few days!
This is Roxy Roo, my baby. She's very spoiled and very cute!
Anyway, I have the next five days off. Saturday through Wednesday. I hope to make some serious headway on the book. A paragraph or two would be great! Although today I have a list of errands to run. It started out just needing to run to the library, but then Darrin decided I need to go to Wal-Mart too. So, that could take all day! And a good portion of the rest of my day will probably be spent online, procrastinating. And then there's Church in the morning. And then there's nap time cause I have to get up freakishly early on Sundays. So maybe by tomorrow evening I will have done more than just open Word and look at the three sentences I wrote the other day!

More on the book!
I seem to have gotten a bunch accomplished today. I only wrote a whole three sentences, but I think I figured out how I want to start. Finally! I've written five or six beginnings and I've finally found one that suits me... for now. Darrin keeps throwing the rope for Roxy and she keeps sliding into the door... really hard. She's going to have brain damage. Anyway, I'm trying to tell as few people as possible in my real life that I'm writing a book, just in case I don't ever finish it, but that really isn't working to well. People keep asking me what I'm doing and I'm not going to make something up. So, whatever! If everybody finds out then maybe that will be more incentive to finish it!
